En esta lectura vamos a aprender a conjugar nuestro primer verbo, el verbo SER. Este verbo es el más importante de todos.
YO SOY – «Yo soy Marta, yo soy española, yo soy profesora.»
TÚ ERES – «Tú eres estudiante de español.»
ÉL/ELLA/USTED ES – «Él es Juanito, ella es Juanita.»
NOSOTROS/NOSOTRAS SOMOS – «Nosotros somos personas.»
VOSOTROS/VOSOTRAS SOIS – «Vosotros sois mis estudiantes.»
ELLOS/ELLAS/USTEDES SON – «Ellos son mis compañeros de clase.»
¿PARA QUÉ SE UTILIZA EL VERBO SER EN ESPAÑOL?
- El verbo SER se utiliza para hablar de la nacionalidad. Por ejemplo: «Yo soy española».
- El verbo SER se utiliza para hablar de las características del carácter de la persona. Por ejemplo: «Juanito es antipático».
- El verbo SER se utiliza para hablar de la hora. Por ejemplo: «¿Qué hora es?».
- El verbo SER se utiliza para identificar. Por ejemplo: «Yo soy Marta, ¿tú quién eres?».
- El verbo SER se utiliza para hablar de la profesión o de la ocupación. Por ejemplo: «Yo soy profesor, soy estudiante, soy médico…».

AN IMPORTANT GRAMMATICAL RULE
