Familia monoparental
Yo vivo sólo con mi madre. Mis padres se divorciaron cuando yo tenía 10 años. Mi padre vive en otra ciudad, a dos horas, y yo voy a verlo dos veces al mes. También pasamos las vacaciones juntos, o al menos una parte de ellas. Mi madre trabaja como profesora en el mismo instituto en el que yo estudio, así que vamos y volvemos juntos en el coche. No tengo hermanos pero sí muchos primos con los que nos juntamos los nes de semana. Mis abuelos viven cerca de mi casa.
Familia de adopción
Esta es una foto de mi familia de hace ocho años. Mi padre es alemán, mi madre española, y yo nací en China; me adoptaron cuando tenía unos meses. Siempre he sabido que soy adoptada y para mí es natural. Sé que no son mis padres biológicos pero son definitivamente mis padres. Los quiero muchísimo. Con ellos ya he viajado a China dos veces. Ellos quieren que conozca la cultura de la que provengo. No tengo hermanos pero mi madre tiene cuatro y tengo muchos primos que viven todos en la misma ciudad. Las vacaciones las pasamos siempre en la casa de la playa que tienen mis abuelos.
Familia ensamblada
Mi familia es fenomenal. Somos tres hermanos, bueno, en realidad tengo dos hermanastros. Mis padres habían estado los dos casados antes y tuvieron hijos con sus respectivas familias. Normalmente Ana vive con su madre, pero en las vacaciones vive con nosotros. En la foto estamos todos juntos cuando fuimos de vacaciones a esquiar. Mi otra hermanastra, Laura, es hija de mi madre y su anterior marido, pero vive casi siempre con nosotros.
Familia homoparental
Somos una familia poco convencional. Mi hermano y yo tenemos dos padres y somos adoptados. Mi otro padre es el que hizo la foto. A nosotros nos parece normal pero sabemos que en muchas culturas este tipo de familia no está aceptado y que algunas religiones no lo reconocen.
Single parent family
I live only with my mother. My parents divorced when I was 10 years old. My father lives in another city, two hours away, and I go to see him twice a month. We also spend the holidays together, or at least part of them. My mother works as a teacher in the same institute where I study, so we drive back and forth together. I don’t have siblings but I do have many cousins with whom we get together on weekends. My grandparents live near my house.
Adoption family
This is a photo of my family from eight years ago. My father is German, my mother Spanish, and I was born in China; I was adopted when I was a few months old. I have always known that I am adopted and for me it is natural. I know they are not my biological parents but they are definitely my parents. I love you so much. With them I have already traveled to China twice. They want me to know the culture I come from. I have no siblings but my mother has four and I have many cousins who all live in the same city. We always spend our vacations at the beach house that my grandparents have.
Blended family
My family is phenomenal. We are three brothers, well actually I have two step-brothers. My parents had both been married before and had children with their respective families. Normally Ana lives with her mother, but on vacation she lives with us. In the photo we are all together when we went on vacation to ski. My other stepsister, Laura, is the daughter of my mother and her former husband, but she lives almost always with us.
Homoparental family
We are an unconventional family. My brother and I have two parents and we are adopted. My other father is the one who took the photo. It seems normal to us but we know that in many cultures this type of family is not accepted and that some religions do not recognize it.
